  • INGREDIENTS: Pasteurized Cow's Milk, Cheese Cultures, Salt, Enzymes.  If crumbled powdered cellulose is added to prevent caking.

  • SHELF LIFE: 4-5lb Crumbled: 90 days from product date if sealed.  28lb and 8lb Pails: 360 days from product pack dated sealed.

History

  • Feta cheese is a brine curded cheese that orginiated in Greece.  Traditionally Feta cheese was made from sheep's milk or goat's milk. 

  • Feta cheese is made in special forms,  sliced into large pieces and then salted and soaked in a brine solution for a specific time period.  

  • Today, most Feta cheese in the United States is made domestically from cow's milk.
